My name is Nicole. I was raised in a small town in northern Ohio. What was mostly farmland at the time it is now one of the fastest growing towns. I have lived in the same house all of my life. As a child I was never really into sports. My mother always wanted me to join in something so I decided to take up band. I started band when I was in the fourth grade. I had no idea what kind of instrument I wanted to play so I asked my mom what she thought I should play. She told me that she always liked the saxophone so thats what I decided to play. I have been in band ever since the fourth grade so I've been playing for nine years. When I started high school I decided to join the marching band. While I was in the marching band we were grand champions 3 times and we got a one at state every year. My senior year was the best the band had ever done, we got straight one's across the board. In my junior year our marching band was selected to preform in Disneyworld. We went down to Florida during our spring break to preform in Disneyworld. While we were there we preformed in the spectromajic perade in the majic kingdom. Since all I had basically done in high school was marching band I decided to stop when I got to college. I thought instead of doing the exact same thing I had always done that I would start to try new things.
